Sam relentlessly followed me across the entire country with minimal complaints about how much I had planned each day. Our journey took us from north to south with many stops!
So to end the trip, I catered to his ‘vacation’ style and we spent 3 very relaxing days on the island of Phu Quoc. No plans, just lounging in our beach front villa and relaxing before we head home.
Our villa had its own private pool and was right on the beach!
It was the perfect way to end the trip as now we both feel ready to head home and don’t need a vacation from our vacation.
This has been my favorite trip by far! I’ve had so much fun. I’ve felt so relaxed. I’ve allowed myself to just experience the culture and enjoy the people despite language barriers. And while not every part has been perfect, it’s been perfect for me.
Vietnam is always going to hold a special place in my heart. And I got to enjoy it with my very best friend. ❤️
So happy for you to have had such a wonderful experience!!! And thanks for taking us along via this blog. I loved it all!
Love love this end to the trip and you know I’m loving the sunset 😍 so glad to have you back and can’t wait to hear all the amazing stories once you’re recovered from jet lag!
Very clever idea to end a trip like this ! Looks gorgeous.
